Kylian Mbappé secured PSG victory at home against Angers when he got the opportunity from the penalty spot just before the end.
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN – ANGERS 2-1:
PSG had to manage on Friday night without both Lionel Messi and Neymar who had been in action for their respective national teams on Friday night.
And without the star duo, the French capital team got it tough in the meeting with Angers at home at the Parc des Princes.
Angelo Fulgini made sure that the guests went up in the lead before the break, before Danilo Pereira headed in the equalizer 20 minutes before full time.

Angered up in the lead
It was the home team that showed the freshest pace initially at the Parc des Princes, but without putting Angers goalkeeper Paul Bernardoni on the big tests.
During the first half, however, the guests came more into the game and played to more opportunities. And when Fulgini took the lead after 36 minutes, it was not undeserved.

Marco Verratti lost the ball by Angers penalty area. The hosts immediately started a counterattack, where the ball was eventually played to Sofiane Boufal on the right. The Moroccan hit a low and hard post against the back post, where Fulgini waited and walked into the lead.
– It is simply a brilliant counterattack and a fine scoring, was commentator Haugen’s verdict on the scoring.
Struck back
After the break, PSG put a lot of pressure on Angers’ defense, and with 20 minutes left to play, the equalizer was a fact.
Kylian Mbappé received the ball on the right hand side, but Danilo Pereira managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. The defensive midfielder safely headed in 1-1.
And five minutes before the end, tonight’s second was for PSG, when Mbappé got the opportunity from the penalty spot.
Thus, Pochettino’s men can cheer for another victory in Ligue 1.
