Paris Saint-Germain defeated Troyes in the 2022/2023 French League continuation. Playing without Lionel Messi, Les Parisiens won 3-1.

However, PSG was able to lock in the victory three minutes later. Fabian Ruiz was able to break into Troyes’ goal, taking advantage of the ball thrown up by Mbappe’s kick. Had the VAR checked because it was suspected of being offside, the referee then still decided the goal was legal. The 3-1 score lasted until the fight broke up.
The victory has made PSG now collect 78 points, six points ahead of Lens. Meanwhile, Troyes is still falling in the red zone, which is ranked 19th with 22 points from 34 matches.
