Paris –
Paris Saint-Germain’s poor results made the dressing room heat up. The camp is divided into two, namely Latin American players and French players.
PSG went through March with a series of poor results. Of the four matches, only one victory was won.
Two defeats are quite painful for PSG. The first was beaten 1-3 by Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League last 16, which made Les Parisiens lift their suitcases. Then, PSG just beat AS Monaco 0-3 in Ligue 1 last weekend.
The bad result made the changing room heat up. According to the RMC report, there are now two camps in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
The first camp is called the star players who come from South America, and the other players who speak French.
The situation was detected after the defeat to AS Monaco, no player tried to make an evaluation. The lack of unity within the squad is in the spotlight.
Apart from that, there are a few moments that hint at that. Against Monaco, when Neymar was violated, several players protested to the referee. It was different when Achraf Hakimi was violated, which seemed normal. Hakimi himself is labeled very close to Mbappe, PSG’s French star.
The loss to Monaco was also called Pochettino, in a press statement after the match, because there was no common vision.
“We are in a situation where we have to ask ourselves with the club and find the best way to help PSG,” he said.
“Some people are involved in a club like PSG, so we have to find a common idea and vision,” explained the Argentine coach.
