Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, 29, has been linked on and off with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi clubs, and earlier this week Spanish newspaper Sport stated that Silva wants to join Barcelona, and has even decided to leave City this summer.
Now, in turn, the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo states that PSG is ready to challenge Barcelona for a signing during the upcoming transfer window.
According to the newspaper, PSG can take advantage of the fact that Barcelona has financial problems, and thus intervene and trigger the player’s buyout clause of 60 million euros, equivalent to 699 million Swedish kronor.
Silva has a total of 66 goals and 62 assists in 349 games with the Manchester club. He joined from Monaco in 2017, and has a contract until 2026.
