PSG Boss Allegedly Involved in Cases of Kidnapping and Torture

Paris

The investigation from the French court is targeting Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Bos Paris Saint Germain was allegedly involved in cases of kidnapping and torture.

Three judges from a French court were appointed to investigate Khelaifi, Monday (27/2/2023). The team reported that the Qatari man was accused of kidnapping and torturing French-Algerian lobbyist Tayeb Benaderrahmane.

Benaderrahmane has filed a civil lawsuit regarding this case. He was arrested in Qatar, where he had settled three months earlier for lobbying, in January 2020.

Benaderrahmane said he was jailed in Qatar for six months. The 42-year-old man was tortured and placed under house arrest before being allowed to leave in November 2020, on guarantees he would not divulge ‘sensitive’ documents related to Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

The case of Benaderrahmane’s arrest and torture is suspected to be related to the World Cup in Qatar or the allocation of TV broadcasting rights. Benaderrahmane kept the ‘sensitive’ document on his cell phone.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, group president of beIN Media, and Jerome Valcke are accused of making a deal behind FIFA for the broadcast rights of the 2026 and 2030 World Cups.

Possession of these documents, uncovered during the indictment of Benabderrahmane and the two ex-cops in separate judicial investigations into peddling influence and corruption around Paris Saint Germain.

“We are very pleased that the actual files of this story have finally become the subject of investigation by a French court,” said Benabderrahmane’s lawyers Masters Romain Ruiz and Gabriel Vejnar. The team.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi reportedly denied involvement in the arrest and torture of Benabderrahmane in Qatar. The attorney has not issued an official statement regarding this matter.
