Paris Saint Germain announced four positive players COVID-19. One of them Lionel Messi.
On its official website, PSG announced an update on the condition of its players. One of them is related to COVID-19.
In a release, PSG announced that four of its players had tested positive for the coronavirus. Among them was Lionel Messi who was exposed.
“Four players who have tested positive for COVID-19 are Leo Messi, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Nathan Bitumazala. They are currently self-isolating and complying with existing health protocols,” reads a PSG statement.
Messi was recently recruited by PSG in the transfer market last summer. The Argentine striker was recruited on a free transfer, after failing to extend his contract at Barcelona.
At PSG, Messi has only scored 6 goals and made 5 assists. He helped Les Parisiens lead the Ligue 1 standings and qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
