Paris Saint Germain and Arsenal are looking for a central defender to face the second half of the season and they have set their eyes on Eric García, a Manchester City player.

According to the Mirror, PSG and Arsenal have joined the bid for the Spanish footballer. The idea is to sign him before the close of the winter market but they do not rule out focusing their offer for this summer.

Both clubs want a young and promising footballer for their respective defenses and Eric García is one of the best options offered by the market since it would be free in summer (contract ends on June 30) or for about 3 million euros in winter.

However, Arsenal and PSG will have to make a succulent offer to Eric García to change his mind since, according to some media, he already has a preliminary agreement with Barça.

Eric García has long wanted to return to Barcelona. Barcelona is the team in which he was formed and his wish is to return to the Camp Nou to make history at the Barça club.

Of course, the signing is not 100% closed since FC Barcelona is going through serious financial problems that could put the operation at risk.

The only option for PSG and Arsenal

If Barcelona do not work out, he will be forced to break the pre-agreement with Eric García and forget about signing the young Spanish central defender from Manchester City.

Then, Paris Saint Germain and Arsenal will return to the charge to try to get the services of the footballera, who is offered a position in the starting eleven.

However, if Barça manages to square the figures, neither the English club nor the French will have options to sign a player, who dreams of putting on the Barça elastic.
