PSG adventure over? MLS club hot on Sergio Ramos

The big announcements made last summer about Sergio Ramos’ signing have not come true so far. Paris Saint-Germain could end the misunderstanding after a year, apparently there is already a buyer.

Sergio Ramos (35) apparently has the opportunity to leave Paris Saint-Germain in a few months. The Los Angeles Galaxy are ready to sign Ramos this summer, according to French portal Foot Mercato.

The Major League Soccer season has just begun, with the LA Galaxy beating New York City FC 1-0 in their first game last weekend. Coach Greg Vanney and his management could vie intensely for Ramos over the next few weeks to get him into the MLS in early July.

The collaboration between PSG and Ramos has so far turned out to be a big misunderstanding. Due to various injuries, the world and European champion has only played five competitive games. Ramos has been out again for weeks with a calf injury.

“He’s suffering more than anyone, he’s disappointed and frustrated,” said PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino last week. “We try to help him in every way, the medical staff is doing everything and we give him moral support. We hope he can return to what he loves as soon as possible.”

After the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against his former club Real Madrid, Ramos is also likely to miss the second leg, which is scheduled for next Wednesday (March 9).
