Psalm 121 in a dream setting

Worship musician Dän Zeltner wears in a new video Psalm 121 (I have my eyes set on the mountains) » In front of a breathtaking backdrop, the promising encouragement from Psalm 121 is visually powerful and encouraging. He then recommends in the clip to look up to what these powerful words from the Bible are about.
“I stood on the Kleine Scheidegg for the first time at the age of six and the first word I uttered – together with all the Chinese, Russians, Indians and Americans and whoever is up there – was the word ‘ Wooow ‘», the singer and musician Dän Zeltner remembers in the video.
This backdrop is absolutely breathtaking, explains Zeltner further. «When we got home afterwards, I noticed that I could see the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau from my children’s room on a nice day. But they are so far away that I could cover them with my thumb. “
He’s not sleeping yet
Dän Zeltner recalls: “A quarter of a century later I stood on the Kleine Scheidegg for the second time. And I was spellbound again. And I love that Psalm 121. Because he says we should get so close to the mountains that we have to look up. And then we can also see who is behind it. The Lord of heaven and earth. Our creator. The one who is outstanding. “
As in Psalm 121 is described: «I look up to the mountains – where can I expect help from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! The Lord will not allow you to fall; he, your protector, does not sleep. Yes, the protector of Israel sleeps and does not slumber. The Lord takes care of you; he is by your side and offers you protection from impending dangers. The glow of the sun will not burn you during the day, and the moon will not harm you at night. The Lord protects you from all harm, he keeps your life. He takes care of you when you leave the house and when you return home. Now and forever he is with you! ” So much for the encouraging promise Psalm 121.
“Look up to him!”
Dän Zeltner explains further: “We live in a time when we really have to bring ourselves to look up again. It is an art to look up, because we look more at the circumstances, at what is happening around us. We look at what is mentioned in the newspapers and the news. “
He therefore advises not to stand still: «My challenge to you is: Find space in your life to look up, where you can look up to the Lord and be amazed. Because he is majestic, he has not changed. Our perspective just changes a lot. I hope that this psalm will help you to be amazed and to regain confidence. “
