Sensitive details were hidden in the CMA document, but specific information is easy to glean: Sony fears that if it loses access to Call of Duty in 2027, gamers won’t opt for PlayStation 6 in their next move, but will reach for new Microsoft equipment , who will have access to the Activision series.
The PS5 in 2028 will be eight years old, so if there are no PROs on the way, it makes a lot of sense.
