The supplies of the PS5 remain scarce for the time being and it is also useless to go to the store on November 19, because there will no stock. Coolblue would still accept pre-orders just before the release, but has now stated in a statement (see below) that this simply will not work. There is also a good chance that some people who have already pre-ordered will be disappointed, because there are simply not enough PS5s to supply everyone.
Jim Ryan, the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, does indicated wanting to ship stock to retailers again before Christmas. Microsoft has now succeeded and will have new stock again on December 9. Bol.com is now accepting reservations for the Xbox Series X again, which will then be delivered on December 9. If you are interested in that, you can here place a pre-order, but the real wait is of course on the PS5.
If there is more news about pre-order rounds, we will of course keep you informed, but we notice that we receive a lot of questions from people who still want to try shops or call retailers. This makes no sense, it is just a matter of patience at the moment.
We have good news! The #XboxSeriesX is temporarily back in stock! The pre-order is now open. Be quick because gone = gone. https://t.co/dc3sv87hL1. Please note that anyone who has placed an order today can expect a delivery on December 9.
