SONY began to reveal the existence of the PlayStation 5 or PS5 by giving selected Japanese media the opportunity to try the next generation solid state drive (SSD) data storage media. In this case Sony revealed new details about SSD cooling, showed off some gameplay, and highlighted its record-breaking size.
However, there have been lots of information leaks regarding the storage capacity of the PS5 SSD. One of them will be much less storage space, which is less than the 700 GB provided in the PS5 SSD.

As quoted from Gamerant, Monday (5/10/2020), there is good news that the Sony PlayStation UI and OS don’t need much space on the SSD. However with a smaller overall size for the drive, there isn’t much room for gaming.
Assuming that some PS5 games can be at least 100 GB in size, it stands to reason that gamers need to make choices about what to keep installed and what to remove.
