When it comes to PS5 prices, you will have to pay SEK 5,999 for the standard version of the console with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive. But if it is more than what you want to spend, there is also a PS5 Digital Edition, which is without a disc unit, and which only costs SEK 4,999.

That’s more than the launch price of the PS4 and PS4 Pro, but they arrived seven and four years ago now, which means you get much better hardware for just a few hundred bucks extra. It’s still expensive, do not get us wrong, but the price increase feels justified considering what you get for your money here.

Sony has also announced PlayStation Plus Collection, which is a collection of fantastic PS4-exclusive game titles included in the purchase of PS Plus. So even if you choose PS5 Digital Edition, you will still be able to access your old games, even if you cannot play the physical versions of them.
