According to a recent patent registered by Sony, PS5 might be able to recognize the user holding the controller DualSense, thus giving him access to his account. This would be a new security measure that would make the theft of personal data or, worse, the entire account more difficult.
From the patent text we learn that users frequently connect with theirs account PlayStation to play on consoles other than your own (perhaps as a friend). With recognition via DualSense they will have access anywhere to their progress, content and settings quickly and securely.
To take care of the identification would be one or more sensors of the DualSense. Note that access to the account would not require writing personal data such as password or username, so that, once the game session is over, no sensitive traces remain on the guest PS5.
Always reading the patent we learn that the DualSense could be helped in the recognition of the user by the new one PlayStation 5 camera, capable of receiving input from multiple people at the same time.
We do not know if these functions will be available immediately with PS5, or if they will ever be available in truth (it is not certain that the patents will materialize). However the perspective is interesting, how useful it is.
