Ubisoft has five years after the release of Far Cry 5 released a new update for the game. This makes it possible to play the game at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S from now on.
The resolution of the next-gen versions will also be increased. The resolution and performance improvements are noticeable in the campaign, co-op, Arcade and all DLC.
If you haven’t played the game yet, you can try it out next week. From March 23 to March 27, Far Cry 5 will be free to play on all available platforms. You can try out the campaign during that period.
The game will also be on sale for an 85% discount during that period. Progression from the free weekend can then be carried over to the full game.
