A reliable insider wants to know the prices and launch dates of the PS5 and Xbox Series X and their versions. And it sounds very safe.
Gamers are currently hardly concerned with any other questions than the launch dates and prices of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Roberto Serrano, whose information has recently proven to be very reliable, wants to know the answers.
Accordingly, Microsoft will take the first step and publish the Xbox Series X on November 5 for 499 euros. The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, is due to enter the ring a day later (November 6th) at an absolute competitive price of just 299 euros, which would put it in direct competition with the Switch, at least in terms of price.
According to Serrano, Sony is taking a little more time. The PlayStation 5 should leave the competition a week ahead. On November 13th, both console versions (with drive and all-digital) will appear at the same time. Sony doesn’t seem to want to take any risks, so the drive PS5 is also offered for 499 euros. The digital-only version, however, should cost 399 euros.

Of course, that is by no means a guarantee, but Roberto Serrano has been correct several times in the past. His most recent correct predictions include the date of the PlayStation-5-Reveals am 11. Juni and the announcement of the State of Play on August 6, well before the official announcement.
It should be noted that Serrano appears to be very certain of the prices and dates for the consoles. He wrote in a tweet that it was “more than just rumors and speculations”. Of course, the insider does not name his sources. However, this is not a guarantee for the correctness of his information. Serrano was also wrong in the meantime, since the announcement of the PS5 price he claimed on July 13th did not come true.
