“Switzerland is rich. Despite this, the end of the month remains difficult for a large number of people. Purchasing power is under pressure. That is why we are committed to affordable rents, lower health insurance premiums and decent pensions”. Vast program than that summarized this Monday by the co-president of the Swiss PS and national councilor Cédric Wermuth (PS / AR).
The Socialists launched their campaign this morning in Bern for the federal elections of October 2023. The party is firing on all cylinders on its favorite themes: help for nurseries, equal pay, security of energy supply, ecological transformation of Switzerland, climate protection, protection of tenants and control of health insurance premiums at 10% of income.
On this last point, the president of the Socialist Group in the Federal Chambers, Roger Nordmann (PS/VD), hopes that the file will be able to move forward this autumn: “So far, Parliament has not succeeded in relieving the population in this regarding health insurance premiums. When dealing with the premium relief initiative, it now has the opportunity to take this concern seriously.”
With the Olaf Scholz agency
For its electoral campaign, the PS collaborates with the communication agency “brinkertlück”, founded in 2021 and immediately recognized as “agency of the year”. “This early recognition is explained in particular by his creative work provided in the service of the SPD, and in particular for the candidacy of Olaf Scholz for the Federal Chancellery”, notes a press release from the PS. The total budget for the PS Suisse election campaign amounts to approximately 1.5 million francs.
