Futuristic cooperative espionage, remastered martial arts chaos and fierce combat in a galaxy far, far away await you this June, thanks to the PlayStation Plus game lineup. New Operation titles: Tango and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown make their PlayStation debut, while Star Wars Squadrons gives you the chance to pilot iconic ships like the X-wing and TIE fighter.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, June 1st. Let’s get to know a little more about games.
Operation: Tango | Version for PS5 only*
Team up to save the world in this cooperative espionage adventure, challenging you and a friend to team up online** to complete perilous missions across the globe in a high-tech world in the near future. Combine skill sets from different points of view, playing as a Hacker or Agent, to overcome unique challenges, working together using only your voice to connect you. Teamwork is essential, and communication is essential! Note: Operation: Tango requires that both players have access to a working microphone.
Operation: Tango will be available to PlayStation Plus members until Monday, July 5th.
Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown | PS4
Sega’s famous individual fighter arrives in a full-featured remastered version, overseen by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, developer of Yakuza and Judgment. Launched on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, Virtua Fighter veterans and newbies alike will be able to test out all new online modes, such as ranked matches, tournaments and leagues, while enjoying the redesigned visuals and redesigned user interface. This is the best way to take advantage of this series of pioneering struggles.
The game will be available for PlayStation Plus for about two months, in June and July at the same time! PlayStation members can enter the Virtua Fighter 5 arenas starting on Tuesday, June 1st.
Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will be available to PlayStation Plus members through Monday, August 2nd.
Star Wars Squadrons
Master the art of stellar battles in frantic multiplayer space battles and understand what it’s like to be a pilot in an exciting single-player Star Wars campaign, set after the events of Return of the Jedi, and view the alternating perspectives of the two factions. The New Republic fights for freedom. The Empire demands order. Take control of iconic ships like the X-wing and the TIE fighter, customize shipments and appearance, deflect power between weapons, shields and engines while immersing yourself in the cockpit adventure. As new games come in, others come out. This is the reminder that you have until Monday, May 31st, to add Battlefield V, Stranded Deep and Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last **** to your game library.
