From the columns of his official social profile, the former president of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, made his own the considerations of the editorial staff of GamesRadar.com on the PlayStation Plus Collection enthusiastically describing Sony’s new service for PS5 buyers.
The current boss of the division PlayStation Indies of the Japanese technological giant takes the title of the special of GR + to underline how “PlayStation Plus Collection Not Xbox Game Pass PS5 Answer, But It’s The Next Big Thing” arriving in the videogame industry after, in fact, the subscription service from Microsoft that allows its subscribers to access a huge catalog of titles on PC, green-cross consoles and recently also on xCloud.
Officially presented during the PlayStation 5 Showcase of 16 September, the PS Plus Collection is not Sony’s Game Pass, as indeed the representatives of the Japanese company have specified: it is in fact a sort of “welcome package” for PS5 buyers with 18 games that have defined the PS4 generation. Among the titles included in the collection, we find for example The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4 End of a Thief, Bloodborne, God of War and Days Gone, but not the latest Sony exclusives come Ghost of Tsushima o The Last of Us 2.
The PlayStation Plus Collection will be available at the launch of PS5, which we remember to be scheduled in Italy for November 19 and for version with disc player than for the Digital Edition, proposed respectively at the price of 499 and 399 euros.
