Proximus raises prices of old internet bundles, but not Flex – Tablets and telephones – News

The Belgian provider Proximus is increasing the prices for the old telecom bundles. The prices of the new Flex bundles, on the other hand, remain unchanged. The old bundles are in most cases no longer for sale, so this price increase mainly applies to existing customers.

Out of bundles Internet + TV, Minimus en Fastimus/Safety will be from 2022 one and a half euros more expensive per month. The bundles ‘Start’, Internet + Tel and Tel + TV increase in price by one euro. The prices of all internet subscriptions that are not included in bundles will also be increased from 1 January. Customers now have to pay an extra euro per month for this. Customers with a fixed telephony subscription now pay fifty cents more per month. The prices for the mobile subscriptions, on the other hand, are not increasing.

Proximus counted at the end of June 619,000 Flex customers. Ten percent of the homes in Belgium had a fiber optic connection from the provider at the end of the second quarter. In total, this concerns 612,000 houses.
