Proximus introduces Flex XS with 100Mbit/s internet and mobile subscription – IT Pro – News

I had a 70/20 line with Proximus in 2012 (I may be wrong about uploading). That 70/20 line will certainly be 100 mbit in the meantime, 100 mbit was simply not there at the time.

In other words, Proximus is an excellent choice. EDPnet or Scarlet is of course also possible, it works out cheaper, but price is indeed not always what someone chooses.

At Telenet, the problem may not be the distance to the cabinet, but capacity. If you live in a busy street where everyone has Telenet, you can be seriously disappointed in terms of speed, given the shared infrastructure up to the closet. With DSL, everyone has their own line. And so everyone’s situation will be different, but to say that 61 euros for (really) unlimited internet + mobile phone (unlimited calling, texting + some data) is a lot of money…

I currently pay just over 50 euros for fiber optic, 20GB mobile and unlimited calling + texting, but in a country that is usually much cheaper for telecom than Belgium. Today I have fiber optic (1000/500) here where I live. Belgium is usually a relatively expensive country for telecom, so I don’t think 60 euros is an exaggeration.
