Jakarta – The Head of the National Police Provos Bureau, Brigadier General Benny Ali, apologized for the intimidation that occurred to two journalists who on Thursday (14/7/2022) interviewed the cleaning staff at the official residence. Head of Propam Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
“First of all, I, as Karo Provos, apologize for the actions of our members who did not understand what happened yesterday. Indeed, what happened yesterday was not at the TKP,” said Benny Ali to reporters at the National Police Headquarters, Friday (15/7/2022).
“But that’s where he lives. So, he was carrying out structured security. Maybe the understanding of our members with the reports, this is already about privacy, empathy,” he said.
According to Beny, this is intended to maintain the condition of the victims, in this case Putri Candrawati, the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo and also their young children.
