Provisional Standings for XX Papua PON 2021 Medals Until Sunday, October 3, 19.00 WIB: DKI Jakarta Still in First Position : Okezone Sports

STANDARDS while the medal PON XX Papua 2021 until Sunday (3/10/2021), at 19.00 WIB, still places DKI Jakarta in first position. DKI Jakarta has collected 76 medals so far.

A total of 76 Jakarta medals consist of 32 gold, 21 silver, and 23 bronze. DKI Jakarta was followed by the host, Papua, who collected 52 medals.

Papua has 22 gold, 8 silver and 22 bronze. Even though it is quite far behind from DKI Jakarta, Papua still has a chance to catch up because there are still many medals up for grabs in the future.

However, Papua must also be careful. The hosts should not only focus on DKI Jakarta because there is West Java following them in third position.

So far, West Java has collected 68 medals. West Java was able to get 20 gold, 20 silver and 28 bronze so far.

West Java is stuck in third position because its gold medal collection has lost more than Papua. Even so, winning two gold medals makes Papua not yet safe from the pursuit of West Java.

However, West Java also has the same concerns as Papua. Because, West Java is followed by East Java which is in fourth position with a collection of 49 medals so far.
