The client of a bank defended by the Pérez Panizo Asociados law firm had already been compensated for the abusive clauses applied to his mortgage, but the lawyers considered that the decision in the first instance not to impose the procedural costs on the financial entity because the lawsuit had not been accepted in its entirety had recourse. Now, the Provincial Court has agreed with them and, therefore, this man will not have to pay the fees of the law firm for the lawsuit filed against the bank. The possibility of claiming the nullity of abusive clauses in mortgages prior to 2019 ends this January. In this sense, the law firm reminds that even if the loan has been canceled, the return of interest, registration, appraisal, notary, management and commissions can be requested.
