(VOVWORLD) – The Social Policy Bank will provide loans to ethnic minorities in remote areas.
This was the request of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at a conference to evaluate the implementation of an instruction from the Party Secretariat on social policy loans.
The Prime Minister stressed that after a decade of implementation, the social credits are a highlight and a pillar in the system of poverty reduction policies. They have ensured social welfare and fulfilled the desire of citizens, especially the poor and disadvantaged.
Pham Minh Chinh urged the Social Policy Bank to consider social policy loans as an important solution in implementing the policy of economic growth combined with social equality. In addition, the bank should make greater use of information technology and digital transformation and modernize itself to improve the quality of work, the Prime Minister added.
