Proven cheating, Pertamina stops supplying fuel to gas stations in Purwakarta for a month

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) through Pertamina Patra Niaga Subholding West Java Region imposed sanctions on Public Fuel Filling Stations (gas station) 34-41105 in Purwakarta Regency, who committed violations during the period 2-15 February 2022.

The gas station sells fuel oil (BBM) Biosolar of certain types of fuel (JBT) as much as 38,235 liters to the same number of vehicles continuously, and whose license plates are not registered in any SAMSAT.

“This transaction activity can be seen from the Pertamina gas station digitization system which is monitored regularly every day,” said West Java Regional Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Eko Kristiawan in his statement, Friday (4/3/2022).

He explained that the sanctions were given as guidance and supervision of gas stations that were cheating. This is in accordance with the cooperation agreement between the gas station and Pertamina, that it is not permissible to sell JBT Biosolar fuel to vehicles more than the stipulated amount limit and more than once a day.

The sanctions given included a warning letter and a cessation of the supply of JBT Solar fuel for one month, the installation of a gas station banner during the coaching period, and paying the difference between the subsidized and non-subsidized prices of 38,235 liters.

“Pertamina will provide even stricter sanctions if during the construction period it still violates the stipulated provisions,” he said.

Eko revealed that the Downstream Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has imposed restrictions on the purchase of subsidized diesel fuel. A number of vehicles are restricted and some are even prohibited from using JBT diesel oil.

“For four-wheeled goods transportation, the restriction on the purchase of diesel fuel is only 30 liters per vehicle per day. Six or more wheels is only 60 liters per vehicle per day, and for private vehicles it is only 20 liters per vehicle per day,” said Eko.
