Proud news comes from the two sons of the late crew KRI Nanggala-402, Sheeva Naufal Zidane and Fakhrul Ruci. Both of them officially became Naval Academy Cadets (AAL) after completing an integrative basic education partnership between the TNI Academy Cadets and the Police Academy (Akpol) for 3 months.
The graduation ceremony for the Bhayangkara Cadets consists of Akmil, AAL, AAU, and Akpol cadets led by the Inspector of Ceremonies (Irup) TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the Candradimuka Regiment TNI Academy Magelang, Thursday, (28/10/2021 ).
The event was also attended by KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono, KSAU Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo, and Deputy Lieutenant General Bakti Agus Fadjari as well as other TNI-Polri officials.
Prajurit Taruna (Pratar) Sheeva and Fakhrul together with 980 Prospective Prajurit Bhayangkara Taruna (Caprabhatar) consisting of 779 Candidate Soldier Candidate (Capratar) TNI Academy and 203 Candidate Bhayangkara Taruna (Cabhatar) Akpol have been through partnership integrative basic education from August 3 to October 28 2021.
Sheeva Naufal Zidane, who is in the 1st Platoon of Company A Battalion 4th Taruna, is the son of First Admiral (posthumous) Harry Setyawan and Winny Waidayanti. Sheeva was born in Surabaya, April 5, 2003.
He said his son had dreamed of becoming a soldier since childhood. According to him, Sheeva’s ideals were influenced by the late Harry.
“Alhamdulillah, now we have arrived at the Jurit’s graduation. Please pray that my son will become a TNI soldier who is trusted and protected by Allah SWT,” said Winny.
Fakhrul Ruci Rahmatullah Arsyad, who is part of the 2nd Platoon of Company A Battalion 1st Taruna, is the son of the Marine Captains (T/Posthumously) Anang Sutrianto and Kasmaya. Fakhrul Ruci is the eldest of two children who graduated from SMA Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya.
“I hope Fakhrul becomes a strong soldier and leader and is credited with devoting himself to the country, the homeland and the nation who carry out his duties with full trust from his father’s successor with full steadfastness until the end,” Kasmaya said.
KRI Nanggala-402 was first declared lost contact while participating in an exercise in the waters north of Bali on Wednesday (21/4/2021). The KRI Nanggala-402 submarine sank and 53 soldiers on board died.
