Protests with hundreds of people in various parts of Madrid | Madrid

Neither the sanitary applause has ended in Madrid this Monday – they were heard again at 8:00 p.m., as requested by several sanitary associations – nor do they hear the saucepans of the protests against the Central Government at 9:00 p.m. The marches that started a week ago on Calle Núñez de Balboa have spread to various parts of the region. This Monday, in addition, the leaders of Vox Rocío Monasterio – regional leader – and Ivan Espinosa de los Monteros – spokesperson in the Congress of the far-right party – have made an appearance at the rally in Paseo de la Habana, where for more than Half an hour some 500 people have shouted against the Executive of Pedro Sánchez. The protesters have greeted Vox politicians, who have agreed to requests for photographs at all times asking to keep physical distance.

Hundreds of people have returned to meet in various areas of the city on Monday. In addition to the ones that shouted “Freedom!” and “Government resign!” on the Paseo de la Habana with Hermanos Pinzón, at the stroke of 9:00 p.m., with the Spanish anthem playing between saucepans and in the presence of half a dozen police vans, about 200 were doing it in Ferraz, in front of the PSOE headquarters. Also in other parts of the region: in Alcorcón more than 300 in the Plaza Príncipes de España.

The Government of the Community of Madrid has once again formally requested the central government to enter phase one of de-escalation on Monday, according to Europa Press, and will send a new technical report tonight in order to justify it.

The previous two times it did not meet the health criteria but it has been possible to advance to an intermediate phase that involves a relaxation of the restrictions of the state of alarm, as in Barcelona and in many parts of Castilla y León. From this Monday, Madrid residents can shop in stores of less than 400 meters without the need for an appointment and with limited capacity. At the moment, with more curious than clients.

The Delegation of the Government in Madrid maintains this week the police device before the protests that began in the Núñez de Balboa street of the capital and that have spread to other parts of the region, at 9:00 p.m. and with pans, against the Executive of Pedro Sánchez. The National Police and the Municipal Police of Madrid participate, mainly to ensure that security measures related to physical distance are met, according to sources from the institution, cited by Efe. “The police and the Government Delegation are acting with the utmost prudence, proportionality and responsibility,” said the delegate, José Manuel Franco, on Monday.

These protests have taken place in different areas such as Chamartín, Moncloa, Paseo de la Castellana, among others, and in towns such as Majadahonda, Pozuelo, Alcobendas, San Sebastián de los Reyes or Galapagar. In the capital, this Sunday, the police had to cut part of Ferraz street due to a protest with about 450 people in front of the PSOE headquarters.

The largest police deployment has been located these days in Núñez de Balboa, with a dozen vehicles from the Police Intervention Unit (riot police) and from the air with a helicopter.
