Protests Continuing in Israel, Demands PM Benjamin Netanyahu to Resign Page all

JERUSALEM, KOMPAS.com – Thousands of people Israel still continues his protest action in front of the Israeli Prime Minister’s residence Benjamin netanyahu on Saturday (22/8/2020).

Another banner insinuates Netanyahu with calling him “Minister of Crime”.

Israeli police said they arrested seven protesters on suspicion of violating public order and assaulting police officers.

Netanyahu rejected calls to step down when he was put on trial and claimed the left and the media were responsible for the protests.

Israel is said to be quite successful in suppressing the spread of the corona virus in the early days of the pandemic. But after the economic sector opened, the number of corona virus cases in Israel immediately jumped.
