New Delhi: Farmers’ organizations have said they will continue talks with the central government. The decision not to withdraw from the discussion was taken at a meeting of farmers’ organizations in Singh. Bills will be burnt on Makar Sankranti day as part of the protest. The meeting of farmers’ organizations also decided to celebrate Mahila Kisan Day on January 18 with the participation of women farmers.

Fearing further protests, Bihar Chief Minister Khattar withdrew. However, Manohar Lal Khattar said that the attack was not carried out by farmers but by left parties and farmers.
