Clashes in a peaceful protest in Plovdiv between Ukrainian citizens condemning the war and those supporting Putin. The peaceful protesters include a small group that raises placards in defense of Putin, BTV reported.
An exchange of verbal remarks began, as well as a collision and exchange of blows, but the police intervened and took away the provocateurs.
Dozens had gathered to protest in Plovdiv’s main square, demanding an end to the war in Ukraine. Both people who have relatives in Ukraine and ordinary people from Plovdiv who expressed sympathy were present.
Plovdiv residents have expressed readiness to receive people fleeing the country.
