Indodax CEO Oscar Darmawan opened his voice regarding the demonstration that took place in his office yesterday. According to him, the protest was held at the wrong address because it was not related to Indodax.
“It’s not the Indodax office, maybe it can be asked directly to Kunci, because the wrong address is not about us,” he told detik.comTuesday (2/8/2022).
“It has nothing to do with it, it’s the wrong address,” he added.

The Indodax office was invaded by mobs on behalf of the Civic Youth Circle (LPM) yesterday. The action was carried out because of an alleged violation of the rules of the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (CoFTRA).
In his speech, the demonstrators asked Oscar to be responsible for the problem of ownership of the Kunci or KunciCoin developer token. Regarding this problem, Oscar asked to be asked directly to Kunci.
“You can ask Kunci, only as far as I know the key has been registered with CoFTRA, just ask directly to Kunci,” he explained.
In his statement, the Coordinator of LPM, Ade Andriansa said, this ownership issue violates CoFTRA’s rules.
“Look, friends, they have a problem with the ownership of tokens by the Kunci developer, which violates CoFTRA regulations. CoFTRA can only own about 30% of the ownership for the developer. Now he has 99% ownership, so that violates CoFTRA’s ownership,” he said in his statement, Monday (1/8).
He added that the community was very disadvantaged because of this. The actions of the digital asset trading platform company are considered to deceive the public.
“Here, we ask Indodax to immediately delist the Kunci token, secondly we urge CoFTRA and the Ministry of Trade to warn Mr. Oscar not to be careless just because of business problems and then crashing the rules of the game,” said Ade.
