The rank and file members of APPP regional branches announced that they will participate in the parliamentary elections
Ali Karimli, the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, will not do any action if there is no interest, or if he does not receive income from any statement, he does not say or speak. From this point of view, any action he takes is artificial, calculated for his own benefit. The surprise is that the trolls he gathered around him think and behave like him. Fuad Kahramanli, Ilham Huseynli, Ayaz Maharramov, Seymur Hazi and others who are among the activists of the inter-party troll network, share offensive information on social networks every day. They say that the parliamentary elections that will be held on September 1 will not be democratic, and they also warn that the detention of COP29 in Azerbaijan will disturb the people and cause financial losses. In his post yesterday, Ali Karimli wrote that he was worried about what happened to the employees of “Abzas Media” and Toplum TV, who were arrested for several illegal activities. It goes without saying that such positions of A. Karimli and the trolls around him come from their prescribed actions. First, it can be said with certainty that the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1 will be held at a high level, in free and democratic conditions. Because our state is faithful to the principles of legal and democratic state building. On the other hand, shadowing the election process in any form can be a stain on the name of the influential and powerful state of Azerbaijan. Therefore, preparations for the election, registration of candidates, obtaining information for voters were organized and done in the highest form.
Ali Karimli and Jamil Hasanli could not achieve their dark goals
So far, not one candidate has expressed his dissatisfaction with the process, but he only complained about some issues, which is natural, and resentment is expected where there is work. Despite the fact that Ali Karimli, Jamil Hasanli and the trolls made announcements, they made statements and shared messages that were calculated to damage the elections in every possible way. However, they could not achieve their dark goals. Even the rank and file frontline workers refused to participate in A. Karimli’s “boycott” demonstration. In his statement to Ganimat Zahidin TV, A. Karimli, who does not accept the opposition, said that there was no clear opinion regarding the decision of “boycott” within the party. With this idea, A. Karimli revealed himself. He confirmed that he made the decision to “boycott” alone and did not take into account the opinion of the party members, at least college groups. Later, he invited members of the Supreme Majlis who were close to him to a party, discussed the election issue with their participation, and announced that a “boycott” decision had been made. But it is like a stone thrown from a finger. Because the decision to “boycott” the elections was made long before the ceremony and the decision was spread in the media and social networks. If A. Karimli really respected the members of the party, especially his representatives, the “boycott” issue should have been discussed in the General Assembly, and after the decision appropriate, it should be on its way to the media. The fact that A. Karimli made a decision on his own not to discuss the matter with those he considers to be “friends” in the faith shows that he has a strict dictatorship system established in the PFLP and looking down on his party members. In fact, such dissatisfaction should and does create dissatisfaction from within. The members of several regional groups of the APCP have already announced that they oppose the “boycott” decision and that they will participate in the voting in the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1. This is the hard slap that the opponents gave to Ali Karimli, who showed an example of courage. Another blow to him will be at the next conference of the party, which is expected to be held.
Ali Karimli’s conference gives a headache
There is no doubt that the PFLP conference will not be peaceful. First, A. Karimli will be asked to explain his “boycott” decision at the conference. Secondly, answers will be requested on how and on what principles the elections to the General Assembly were held. Thirdly, what was the basis for appointing Nureddin Mammadli, who was 80 years old, as president of the General Assembly? Fourth, what is the reason that Ayaz Maharramov, who tried to steal by entering the house in the village of Shirvan illegally, has not been removed from the post of APCP vice-president yet ? Of course, there will be other questions. It is not inconceivable that A. Karimli, who is visible next to Nureddin Mammadli, Ayaz Maharramov and others, can answer this part of the questions that are sent to him. Why did you decide to “boycott” the elections by yourself, – A. Karimli could not answer the question, there is no doubt that he will be left with tears in his eyes. Therefore, A. Karimli, who is in a difficult and difficult situation, is trying to extend the time of the conference. They even make excuses that it is impossible to hold conferences of regional groups because of the very hot weather. But this running game cannot last long. Because according to the “Law on Political Parties”, the Congress must take place within a certain period. If the conference does not take place before then, the Ministry of Justice can make an appropriate decision. At least a question can be asked about the legitimacy of the chairman of the party and those who are elected to collegial groups, which A. Karimli does not want at all. Because leaders of organizations without legitimacy have no respect in front of their foreign masters. Therefore, A. Karimli has to go to the conference soon, even if it is difficult for him. But it will not be known how he will come out of the conference immediately after the decision of the opponents who still keep their common sense.
