Protesters Enter Cannon House on Capitol Hill, Demand Gaza Ceasefire

Protesters entered Cannon House, the oldest office building of the US Congress on Capitol Hill in Washington.

Local police reported, that a group of protesters staged a rally in the Cannon House rotunda, where, as in other areas of Congress, demonstrations are prohibited. Officers warned demonstrators demanding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to end their protest. When they did not comply, they began to be detained.
