Protesters and police officers clashed at the entrance to the gypsy settlement in Orlandovtsi –

/ world today news/ An attempt to prevent an invasion of the gypsy settlement in the “Orlandovtsi” district led to a fight between police officers and a group of about 50 protesters.

Dozens of citizens are gathering near the community center “Raina Knyagina” in the capital’s Orlandovtsi district, “Focus” reported earlier. On the white part of the national flag, which one of the protesters carries upside down, it says “Revolution”. On another is written: “Let’s free Bulgaria from politicians – janissaries, Bulgarian and Turkish 2”.
Like participants in a boxing match, some of the protesters have wrapped the Bulgarian flag around their wrists.

There are armed gendarmes on almost every street. The number of those in uniform almost reached that of the participants in the protest.

The head of the SDVR Mladen Marinov is also present. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is expected to give a briefing at 7 p.m.

The press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced earlier the increased police presence in the area of ​​Orlandovtsi district in connection with the protests. There is also a gendarmerie in the area. Police patrols will remain as long as necessary.
