On the Grote Markt in Groningen, Jos Boersema alone protested against the curfew. He said he was fined 95 euros at exactly 9.30 pm.
Abuse of power, it said on his demonstration sign. Whether he has a fine of 95 euros for it? ,,Hell yes. I even hope so. I do want to challenge this form of abuse of power by the government in court. ”
The fact that he is the only one who is still present after the nine o’clock curfew by the carillon of the Martini Tower on the Grote Markt, makes him somewhat sad. He had thought that perhaps thousands of others would also demonstrate.
