Protest actions in the Freiburg region are largely peaceful – the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district

Again on Monday, critics of the Corona measures were on so-called Monday walks, also in the Freiburg area. The protest actions are said to have been largely peaceful.

Corresponding protests took place at a total of 35 locations. According to the police, they were largely peaceful.

A total of around 1000 participants in district parishes

In the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald there were around 350 participants in Mllheim, 310 in Kirchzarten, 50 in Neustadt, 60 in Lffingen, 30 in Gundelfingen. In Staufen the police counted around 35 and in Bad Krozingen 60. In Breisach they counted Officials around 70 participants who marched through the city. In the northern neighboring district on Monday 200 participants were seen in Waldkirch, around 100 participants in Endingen and Emmendingen and 80 in Denzlingen.

According to the police, only the demonstrations in Elzach, Mllheim and Kirchzarten had been previously registered with the assembly authorities. Therefore, in the majority of the demonstrations, no responsible meeting leader could be identified with whom arrangements could have been made on site, according to a press release. According to a police report, a group of around 25 people had to undergo a police identity check on the town hall square in Freiburg, where a general decree prohibits holding and participating in unannounced gatherings. They were then expelled from the site.
