Protection Offers for M Kece After Being Persecuted by Inspector General Napoleon in Detention Center

Jakarta

Muhammad Kosman alias Muhammad Kece allegedly abused by Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte in the detention house (rutan). M Kece received an offer of protection from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).

As is known, Muhammad Kece, who is a suspect in the blasphemy case, made a report to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police that he was persecuted in the detention center. Muhammad Kece admitted that he had experienced persecution from fellow detainees at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Police immediately launched a case to determine the suspect in the persecution.

“The case is that the whistleblower reports that he has received abuse from a person who is currently a prisoner at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police,” said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono at a press conference at his office, Friday (17/9).

The Bareskrim Polri also admitted that they would immediately investigate Inspector General Napoleon Bonaparte. Inspection of Inspector General Napoleon was conducted to determine the motive for the persecution.

“It will be investigated later during the investigation, yes,” said Dirtipidum Bareskrim Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi to reporters, Sunday (19/9/2021).

Andi explained that the examination of Inspector General Napoleon would be carried out after the examination of the witnesses. It is also investigating whether or not other parties were involved in this incident.

“After examining the witnesses, it could be this week or next week,” he said.

“That’s what investigators are still investigating,” Andi answered when asked whether there was any involvement from other parties or not.

Bareskrim has examined three witnesses in this persecution case. All are prisoners.
