“TechCrunch” took a closer look at the insurance company. In one example, an annual fee of 459 US dollars or 38 dollars per month was due. You get $244 in compensation for every day you miss, up to a maximum of $22,000.
So far, the offer is only available in the US states of Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Tennessee and Texas. In addition to financial support, Notch also wants to help its policyholders to recover their accounts. How exactly that looks like is not yet known.
Notch also points out that the current insurance only covers hacker attacks. An account loss due to a ban from Instagram is not yet covered. We want to expand the offer in the future but in this direction.
