It is a false assumption that your cloud storage is protected from loss. That’s no more true than copying yourself. You should also (actually) keep a copy of the cloud vault to make sure you don’t lose it.
By the way, KeePass can also be used across multiple devices with the right syncs (for example with Syncthing). Turn on your switch (in your sync tool, like Syncthing ), you automatically have backups across multiple devices. That’s better than in the cloud!
Anyway, I use KeePass (XC) for my work, because of the Auto Type. Especially if you work a lot in RDP sessions or VM consoles, where copy/paste doesn’t always work (well), Auto Type always works. That really saves a lot of typos and you can just use strong passwords.
