The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) ordered the capture of 15 individuals, including civilians and gang members, who are accused of various crimes.
Those involved are charged with the crimes of fraud, theft by computer means, illegal limitation on freedom of movement and attempted aggravated homicide.
The captures of this operation were carried out in the department of Cabañas, and it was carried out in conjunction with the National Civil Police.
Among one of the people captured for the crime of fraud was the woman identified as Silvia Carolina Morales Aguirre, who committed the crime in December 2022.
According to reports, a victim contacted her to buy a tourist package to Cartagena, Colombia, but did not receive the money or the package that the woman had offered her.
Another of those arrested for fraud was Rodrigo Enrique Rivera Arriaza. In this case, the victim published the sale of a vehicle on social networks, and Rivera contacted her, asked for her account number to give her an advance payment and sent her a link, but the defendant stole $1,500 from her savings account.
For the crime of attempted aggravated homicide, there are three teenage MS gang members, who will be summoned to the penal centers, where they are already imprisoned, for this new crime.
In this event, the gang members intercepted a victim and hit him in different parts of his body, causing fractures and multiple injuries, then they fled the scene.
