Delphi informs that on December 7, Mindaugas Rašinskas, the prosecutor of the Utena District Prosecutor’s Office, passed a resolution to terminate the pre-trial investigation and release M. Stonk from Vilnius from criminal liability under bail.
A pre-trial investigation into drunk driving, when the driver of the vehicle was diagnosed with a drunkenness of more than 1.5 per mille, started after M. After evaluating all the data collected during the pre-trial investigation, prosecutor M. Rašinskas made a decision yesterday to terminate the pre-trial investigation by releasing M. Stonkas from criminal liability under bail, setting a one-year bail period and transferring it to a close family member who agreed to become bail.
The prosecutor’s ruling states that the criminal sanction imposed on Mr Stonk is a ban on driving vehicles for 2 years and the confiscation of the Suzuki car’s cash equivalent of € 3,400 in favor of the state.
The prosecutor’s ruling was submitted to the judge of the pre-trial investigation of the Ignalina Chamber of the Utena District Court for approval.
