The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) issued 51 arrest warrants against criminals who committed serious crimes in the western part of the country.
Among those captured are: Berta Alicia Segovia Segura, Juan Carlos Ortiz Linares, Kevin José Lorenzana Escobar and Enrique de Jesús Villalta Castillo; accused of the crimes of aggravated injuries, rape, sexual assault and illicit trafficking.
Ana Silvia Ramírez Vichez, David Antonio Guillen Flores, Marvin Roberto Henríquez Carranza and Silvia Clarisa García Ramírez were also captured; all belonging to the MS gang, who are accused of the crimes of illegal limitation on the freedom of movement, illicit groups, aggravated homicide and disappearance of people.
The operations were carried out in Santa Ana, Chalchuapa, Metapán, San Sebastián Salitrillo, El Porvenir, El Congo, Coatepeque and Candelaria de la Frontera.
Some of the accused are already detained and will be notified in their respective penal center about the new crime that they are accused of, such as: Juan Francisco Núñez Hurtado, Walter Ernesto Flores Barrera, Víctor Ernesto Barahona Lara and Mayra Beatriz Sandoval Rivera ; all belonging to the 18R Gang, who will be prosecuted for the crimes of aggravated robbery, other sexual assaults, illicit groups and extortion.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that during the raids drugs such as: marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy were seized; cell phones, a motorcycle, a BB gun and an electronic scale.
