Nacho Pantaleev was released from custody after 24 hours with a signed restraining order. According to prosecutor Kozhuharov, his driver’s license was immediately revoked and there was no danger of him absconding.
The magistrate was summoned by the chief prosecutor Sarafov after his decision outraged hundreds of people. The football coach died on Saturday on the road Sofia – Varna.
The driver Nacho Pantaleev was driving at a high speed – probably around 150 km/h, on a straight and wet section of the road near the village of Sheremetya. He regularly bragged about such behavior on social networks.
Two days after the accident in which football coach Ferrario Spasov died, it became clear that the arrested and released perpetrator of the accident, Nacho Pantaleev from Lyaskovets, has a cousin with the same name. Details about the identity of the person responsible for the accident are still being determined.
One is in England and is a DJ there. He has nothing to do with the incident, although photos from his profile also appeared in the media. The real Nacho’s home with a Mercedes was raided by the police last night because of a photo with a gun on social networks. No weapon found. It has not been established whose weapon is the one with which there are distributed photos and for which a search was carried out at the home of one Nacho in Lyaskovets.
Meanwhile, it became clear that Nacho Pantaleev was summoned to the police in Veliko Tarnovo to hand over his driver’s license. The accused in the death of Ferrario Spasov provided assistance. At the moment, he did not give statements only because he has not yet been questioned in the pre-trial proceedings before the police. He was not questioned immediately after the accident because he was injured – he had a hematoma on his head.
