China’s long-awaited peace plan for Ukraine has turned out to be a mere compilation of what the government of this country has been saying in the last year, plus some elements that are part of its traditional foreign and security policy. In this sense, there is frustration for those who expected something newer, but even so, the advantages and weaknesses of the proposed plan must be considered.
