The local councils in the area of the city of Alfeld are to be provided with a budget in the future. As this newspaper has already reported, the amounts should not be large, but sums between 700 and 3250 euros, depending on the size and population of the town. The proposal comes from the city administration of Alfeld. The bill will be discussed in local councils over the next few weeks. But do they even want the money? After all, this also involves effort and responsibility.
