Lahore: Despite being out of the 2023 Asia Cup cricket tournament, the Afghanistan cricket team is returning home to the hearts of its fans. Afghanistan, who put up a brilliant performance against Sri Lanka, lost by just two runs and were eliminated in the group stage.

Nabi scored his half-century from just 24 balls against Sri Lanka. This is also a record. Nabi holds the record of being the fastest Afghan player to score a half-century in ODIs. Nabi broke Mujibur Rahman’s record of 26-ball half-century. Currently, Nabi has played three Tests, 147 ODIs and 109 Twenty20 matches for Afghanistan. A total of 249 wickets were taken.
