ZACATECAS.- After the women’s day march and the graffiti and damage generated, some buildings in the Historic Center have insurance that covers the damage, while in the rest the municipality will work to eliminate the graffiti.
Joshua Hernandezcoordinator of the Historic Center Managementsaid that in the women’s day demonstration, where the iconoclasm of feminism was expressed, the issue of vandalism should be separated;
“Women have the right to protest and to be heard.”
Well, he said that It’s just material damage.which in the case of some properties are covered by an insurance they have.
“Within those buildings that are protected by the INAH there is an insurance that covers and that they are in charge of repairing the damages, there the González Ortega Market, the Aqueduct and the Portal de Rosales would enter into graffiti removal.”
While in the rest, it will be the municipality that will work on the issue, in coordination with the Monuments Board and his own INAHmainly for the proper application in the quarry of substances such as canasol soap and distilled water.
Referring to the homes or businesses in the Historic Center that were affected by graffiti, he said, on behalf of the municipality they will be supported with manpower, they are only asking you to supply them with the paint.
He also explained that this year the pints tripled in relation to the previous year, giving as an example that in what corresponds to the boulevard only approximately 250 thousand pesos to carry out restoration work.
