Proofreading the Agile Enterprise Book
Last November, I launched the proofreading phase of the first version of my book dedicated to agile business, initially presented in the form of a white paper. Many of you have commented on this book, for which I would like to express my gratitude.
At the same time, I was working on writing an expanded version of this book. It is with enthusiasm that I announce today the start of the rereading of this second version, which constitutes between a third and half of the final work.
Here is the summary:
Part I: From agile teams to the agile enterprise
A brief introduction to the history of agility highlights a double observation: on the one hand, the tendency of agility is to address the entire company. And yet, even today, the company does not find itself in this proposed agility.
Part II: The foundations of the company
We will explore the foundations of business from the perspective of change, uncertainty and complexity. The objective is to identify the challenges of agility in a business that is both complex and paradoxical.
We will see that business agility is not so much a revolution as an evolution of businesses adapting to a changing world.
Part III: Strategic agility
So what does strategic agility represent for a company aspiring to prosper sustainably in this new world? Understanding strategic principles will allow us to identify the characteristics of an adaptive strategy, which responds to uncertainty, and emergent strategy, which copes with complexity.
For the rest of the book, here is the planned summary:
Part IV: Organizational agility
Part V: Tactical and operational agility
Part VI: Agile transformation
I invite you to actively participate in this new phase of rereading, your observations and comments being essential to enrich and refine the content of this work.
