Dignity Health Sports Park announced that it will comply with Los Angeles County’s new protocol for outdoor mega events, which will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result prior to stadium access. for fans 12 years and older from tonight’s game when Club América faces Pumas de la UNAM.
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health order requires all fans age 12 and older attending events at Dignity Health Sports Park to provide one of the following to be admitted to the stadium:
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (with corresponding photo ID for fans 18 and older) OR
• Negative COVID-19 viral test result within 72 hours prior to event start (with corresponding photo ID for fans 18+)
Fans under the age of 12 cannot yet be vaccinated and are not required to provide a negative COVID-19 test, but in accordance with California state regulations regarding outdoor mega events, all fans will be required to use covers mouths, except while actively eating or drinking, inside the Dignity Health Sports Park.
Additionally, LA County and AltaMed PACE will have vaccination services available to any fan who wants to get vaccinated on Friday, October 8, prior to the Club América vs. Pumas UNAM. The LA County Immunization Clinic will be held from 4 pm PT until 8 pm PT on the Northeast corner just outside the stadium entrance.
